MapHow to book JFT-Basic in Nepal
- 1 Create one test-taker ID on the official booking site. Using a second ID can cancel your results.
- 2 Log in during the booking window and choose JFT-Basic, Nepal and a centre.
- 3 Pick a test day inside the test window, at least 45 days after any previous JFT-Basic attempt.
- 4 Pay the fee (USD 36) with a method accepted in Nepal.
- 5 On the day, bring the accepted ID: Passport only. The name must match your booking.
Payment: Credit cards, debit cards, prepaid cards
Your score is shown on screen when the test ends, and the result notice is in your account within 5 business days. You need 200 out of 250 to pass. Once you score 200 or more, you cannot sit JFT-Basic again.

- In Nepal the booking window opens at 12:45 Nepal time, a few hours after the general opening time in Japan. Be logged in a few minutes early: seats on the first test days go quickly.
- Nepal accepts card payment only (Credit cards, debit cards, prepaid cards). Check that your card works for online international payments before booking opens.
- ID accepted at Nepali centres: Passport only. If your passport is still being processed, choose a later test day.
