Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of JFT Guru and Nepali Kanji, products of Tech Bato Pvt. Ltd. (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Accounts and Billing

When you create an account with us on JFT Guru, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

JFT Guru offers premium subscriptions and digital products (online books and study materials). We support the following payment methods:

a) Dodo Payments (International Cards)

Card-based payments are processed by Dodo Payments. Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record for all card transactions and handles payment processing and billing-related customer service. We do not store your card details on our servers.

b) APInepali — Nepali Digital Wallets

Nepali users may pay via APInepali, a payment aggregator that supports Nepali digital wallets and banking services (including eSewa, Khalti, ConnectIPS, and FonePay). When you choose this method, you are redirected to the APInepali-hosted payment page. APInepali's own terms and privacy policy govern that transaction. We do not access or store your wallet credentials. A service charge as configured by APInepali may apply.

c) Manual Payment (Bank Transfer)

We also accept manual bank transfers. To complete a manual payment, you must submit your transaction ID and a payment screenshot through the app or website. Manual payments are reviewed and approved by our team within a reasonable time. Approval is not guaranteed if the transaction cannot be verified. Submitting false or fraudulent payment proofs is a breach of these Terms and may result in account termination.

Nepali Kanji does not require account creation and has no billing or subscription features. All payment-related sections above apply to JFT Guru only.

3. Intellectual Property

The Services and their original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Tech Bato Pvt. Ltd. and its licensors.

Intellectual Property — JFT Basic Source Material

Practice questions and study materials on JFT Guru were developed with reference to the official JFT Basic study textbook:

All rights to this source material remain with the Japan Foundation. Tech Bato Pvt. Ltd. claims no ownership over the original content. JFT Guru is an independent study preparation platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially associated with the Japan Foundation or any official JFT Basic examination body.

Intellectual Property — Nepali Kanji Open Data

The Nepali Kanji app uses the following third-party open-licensed datasets to provide kanji and dictionary functionality:

Rights to these datasets remain with their respective owners. Tech Bato Pvt. Ltd. claims no ownership over these datasets. They are used solely under the terms of their respective open licenses.

4. Content Disclaimer

All practice questions, mock tests, and study materials available on JFT Guru are created by the Tech Bato Pvt. Ltd. team for educational and practice purposes only. Some questions are developed with reference to official JFT Basic study books and publicly available learning materials.

  • Our questions are practice questions only. They are not sourced directly from, endorsed by, or affiliated with the Japan Foundation or any official JFT Basic examination body.
  • We make no guarantee that any question appearing in our app will appear in an actual JFT Basic exam.
  • JFT Guru is a study aid, not an official exam preparation resource. Use it to build knowledge and confidence, not as a prediction of actual exam content.
  • All intellectual property rights in the original question content created by us remain with Tech Bato Pvt. Ltd.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Tech Bato Pvt. Ltd., nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services.

7. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
