Before you apply
As with the aquaculture Type 2 test, your experience is verified through the fisheries association before you book.
Who can take it
- At least 17 years old on the test day.
- At least two years of experience in Japan as a manager or in a similar role in fishing, proven before you apply.
- Japanese nationals cannot take it.
