Who it is for
Experienced hotel staff, whether already in Japan or abroad, aiming for the Type 2 level.
Who can take it
- At least 17 years old on the test day (18 for Indonesian nationals); candidates testing in Japan must meet the official guidelines.
- Practical experience in the accommodation industry is required; check the official guidelines for the exact conditions.
- Japanese nationals cannot take it.
- After a failed attempt you must wait 45 days before taking the same test again.
