Accepted ID at Bangladeshi centres: Passport only. The name on your booking must match it exactly, so book with your passport in hand.
Paying the fee in Bangladesh

Payment options here changed during 2026, so read the latest official notice before you pay.
Skills tests you can take in Bengali
JFT-Basic itself is in Japanese. But for the second half of the SSW requirement, the skills test, two fields offer a Bengali version: the nursing care skills test and the agriculture Type 1 test. That is a real advantage if your Japanese is still at A2 level.
Construction, food service and other fields are tested in Japanese only, so check the language before choosing a field.
