JFT-Basic in Cambodia (2026): test centre, fee and preparation
Cambodian candidates for Japan's Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) visa can meet the Japanese requirement with JFT-Basic. In Cambodia it is held in Phnom Penh, and the fee is USD 36.

All JFT-Basic tests in Cambodia take place in Phnom Penh. If you live in Siem Reap, Battambang or the provinces, book a test day that leaves time to travel the day before.

Skills tests in Khmer
For the skills test, the second SSW requirement, the nursing care skills test and the agriculture Type 1 test are both available in Khmer. Food service and construction are tested in Japanese, so strong JFT-Basic preparation helps there too.
